Short Bio

    Mr. Kelly was born in Savannah, Georgia, where he lived until age 12 when his family moved to Florida.  Mr. Kelly attained a fine education from private schools in Florida through graduation from high school.  He then attended and was graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree. 

    Mr. Kelly took a year off from school to work for a major law firm in St. Petersburg, Florida before going to Mercer University Law School in central Georgia.

    Immediately after graduating from law school, Mr. Kelly went to work for the State Attorney's Office in Clearwater, Florida, where he spent the next six years prosecuting every conceivable type of criminal offense and learning invaluable courtroom skills by trying hundreds of cases. 

    Since leaving the prosecutor's office in 1991, Mr. Kelly has devoted the majority of his practice to litigating civil issues and criminal matters.   Mr. Kelly developed a well rounded practice as well by learning and engaging in the host of other legal endeavors detailed on this web site.

    Mr. Kelly is an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Evergreen, as well as an active member of the Knights of Columbus, and volunteers much of his time to Christian causes, organizations and his community.
